March 25: Making her third career start, Irish-bred JUST A CARE (’20 f. Australia(GB) / Greater Good(AUS) added black-type to her name Friday in Gulfstream Park’s Melody of Colors Stakes. The bay filly overcame a crowded start to charge down the stretch and finish just a length and a quarter behind the winner. She earned an Equibase speed figure of 90 for her second place effort.

March 25: KLASSY BRIDGETTE (’20 f. Army Mule / Klassy Katlyn) added more black type to her resume on Saturday finishing third in the $150,000 Purple Martin Stakes at Oaklawn Park. Trained by BRAD COX, the filly races for JD THOROUGHBREDS LLC, JOEY KEITH DAVIS & LARRY J. ROMERO. Never off the board, the stakes winner has now amassed earnings of $276,900.

March 25: SANDIN SYNDICATE RACING LLC’s three-year-old ASMODEUS (’20 c. Cairo Prince / Spanish Post) got his first career win on Saturday at Aqueduct when he defeated nine other foes in a maiden special weight contest. Sent off as favorite, ASMODEUS was making just his third lifetime start.
Purchased by Sandin Syndicate Stable for $115,000 out of last years OBS March Sale, the WILLIAM MORLEY trainee now has a record of 3-1-1-0 with earnings of $64,800.

March 11: Sophomore colt TALK OF THE NATION (’20 c. Quality Road / She’s Not Here) earned his first black-type on Saturday when he won the Columbia Stakes at Tampa Bay.
Sent off as the favorite, TALK OF THE NATION stalked the pace before beginning his winning move around the three-eights pole and drawing clear to win by two and a half lengths. Trained by SHUG McGAUGHEY and owned by JOSEPH ALLEN LLC and CHC. INC., the dark bay or brown colt now has a career record of 4.3.0.0 and earnings of $107,770

March 11: In her first start of 2023 FLURRY RACING’S four-year-old daughter of Classic Empire, INTERSTATEDAYDREAM (’19 f. Classic empire / Babcock) ran a gutsy rail-skimming trip to finish third in the Azeri Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn Park on Saturday behind winner Secret Oath and runner-up Clairiere.
INTERSTATEDREAM was purchased by owner FLURRY RACING at the 2021 OBS April Sale for $175,000. Trained by BRAD COX the filly has hit the board in all of her eight lifetime starts. The multiple graded stakes winning filly also owns five triple-digit Equibase speed figures. She has earned $531,725.
