Wavertree graduate & multiple G1 winning millionaire COLONEL LIAM has been retired from racing & will take up stud duties at Ocala Stud for the 2023 breeding season.
Purchased as a yearling out of the 2018 Keeneland September Sale for just $50,000 the gray son of Liam’s Map blossomed into a $1.2 million 2-year-old in training. He was purchased by agent JACOB WEST for owners ROBERT & LAWANA LOW out of the 2019 OBS April Sale.
Trained by TODD PLETCHER, COLONEL LIAM made 12 career starts – 7 in Graded Stakes, of which he won 4. His most notable win came in the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes, G1 last year. The 6-year-old horse retires with earnings of $1,812,565.

After breaking her maiden last time out at Oaklawn, KLASSY BRIDGETTE (’20 f, Army Mule / Klassy Katlyn) returned on January 13 to chalk up her second lifetime victory in an allowance optional claiming contest at that same track. Sent off the favorite, the CHRIS HARTMAN trainee cruised to an easy 6 length victory to improve her record to 4-2-2-0. She has amassed earnings on $167,775 for owners JD THOROUGHBREDS, LLC., JOEY KEITH DAVIS & LARRY J. ROMERO.

DIAMOND COOL (‘20G, Prospective / Patriotic Brother) broke his maiden with authority January 13 at Gulfstream Parl. Piloted by JOSE ORTEZ the bay gelding crossed the wire 8 ¾ lengths ahead of his nearest competitor in the state-bred MSW event.

Making it three wins in a row, TODAY’S FLAVOR triumphed yet again in the 4th race at Aqueduct on January 7th. The win in the Allowance Optional Claiming boosted his earnings by $40, 000. His record now stands at 7-3-3-0 and earnings of over $166,000.
After a slight bump at the start, the 5-Year-Old Laoban gelding took control and never was
headed. He cruised home an easy 3 ½ length winner under “MANNY FRANCO.

Having made his debut at Kentucky Downs in September 2022, he broke his maiden 2nd time
out at Keeneland against MSW company in October. His next start was at Churchill in November where he won an Allowance race against nine rivals. The DANIA BEACH STAKES was his fourth lifetime outing. He has put together a record of 4-2-0-2 thus far with earnings of $154,335.
