LENNILU (’23 f. Leinster / Lulu’s Pom Pom) followed up her winning debut with another victory, this time in the ROYAL PALM JUVENILE FILLIES STAKES at Gulfstream Park, thus earning herself a berth in one of Royal Ascot’s juvenile races in June plus a $25,000 travel allowance to that meet. Ridden by LUIS SAEZ, who had also piloted her sire Leinster, the filly ran alongside the front runner before sprinting clear down the lane to score easily by 4 lengths.

Congratulations to her trainer Patrick Biancone and co-owners AMY & CAITLIN DUNNE, BRENDA MILEY, JEAN WILKINSON, TRANQUILITY LAKE FARM, HOFFMAN FAMILY RACING LLC, MAURY & CHRISTOPHER HARRINGTON. We wish Lennilu and her connections the very best of luck at Royal Ascot!

Just four races after Wavertree grad Lennilu punched her ticket to Royal Ascot, fellow alum SANDAL’S SONG (’23 c. Mendelssohn / Sandal) picked up his travel stipend and entry to the Royal Ascot meet when he won Gulfstream Park’s Royal Palm Juveniles. Chasing down another former Wavertree pupil, SQUIRE (’23 c. Leinster / Saudi Chroma), Sandal’s Song made a powerful stretch run under LUCA PANICI to prevail by 1 ½ lengths.

Owned by DEW SWEEPERS LLC and trained by GEORGE WEAVER, Sandal’s Song was making his career debut Saturday. We give Sandal’s Song and all of his connections a big shout out of congratulations!

Friday May 2, 2025

Just before the heavens opened and drenched Churchill Downs on Kentucky Oaks day, REDDAM RACING’S LOOK FORWARD (’22 f. Bolt d’Oro / Troublesome) scored her first graded stakes victory defeating ten other sophomore fillies in the Eight Belles Stakes (G2). Going seven furlongs over a sealed fast track the MICHAEL McCARTHY trainee battled between foes before sneaking through at the eighth pole and running on to score by a length and a quarter. LOOK FORWARD was making just her sixth career start, four of them in 2025 with UMBERTO RISPOLI aboard, collected her third lifetime win, and boosted her earnings to over $500,000.

Congratulations to all!
